Rare oil painting on canvas with Memento Mori theme.

A very rare depiction with multiple symbols but all characteristic.

We have in the center a crucified Christ with open wounds and where blood comes out gushingly.At the base in the central part a face, half skull and half woman. On the sides, on the left, the extinguished and broken candle with some roses and on the right, an hourglass.

The Latin writing is interesting and is a memento mori message:"HODIE MIHI DUM VIVES / VENIT HORA HOMO ORA"

"Today, as long as you live, the hour of the origin of man has arrived"
