This evocative and rare decorative object is the result of the transformation of a monumental wall clock case from the second half of the 19th century, crafted from silvered bronze.


The rich ornamentation features a refined composition of vegetal scrolls, an elegant crest above, a lion mask below, and, above all, a spectacular pair of winged dragons that constitute the most dramatic elements of the entire composition.


The original movement was later removed and replaced with a convex mirror, a modification that gave the object a new function without compromising its strong decorative value.


The result is a highly charming furnishing accessory, ideal for collections of curiosities, cabinets of curiosities, historic homes, professional offices, boutiques, or spaces with a Gothic and eclectic aesthetic.


The patina of the silvered bronze and the traces of time testify to the object's authenticity and enhance its character.
