Exceptional original seventeenth-century painting on wooden panel with the theme Memento Mori.

Death represented by a skeleton with a hat and scythe indicates on an oval with a gold frame a phrase in German with Gothic characters. A phrase taken from the Bible and precisely from the book of Job chapter 14 verse 1, which says: "the man born of a woman has a short life and full of restlessness".The painting was probably the door of a piece of furniture.A unique and rare object.
