French bronze from the late 19th or early 20th century, depicting a theatrical jester with a typical pointed headdress and a wide, wavy collar, fashioned like a true stage mask.


The modeling is rich and refined, particularly evident in the details of the face, the moustache, and the intricate decorative movement of the collar, elements that place the work in the French theatrical decorative taste of the period.


Beautiful original brown-green patina, uniform and vibrant.


Signature engraved on the bust, not perfectly identifiable.


Original veined marble base.
