Magnificent collection of six polychrome terracotta sculptures of Sicilian origin, depicting six souls in purgatory in the flames.

Six subjects with different and meaningful expressions, three men and three women suffering and undergoing their process of penance and spiritual purification, certain, in the Catholic faith, that they will one day enjoy God's glory in Heaven. Small restorations present on a couple of sculptures in the finger area

Sculptures range in height from approximately 20 (7.9") cm to approximately 23 cm (9")
