Originating from Turin, a city historically linked to the European esoteric tradition, this rare teaching model for palmistry was created between the late 19th and early 20th centuries.


The object consists of a patinated plaster right hand, engraved with traditional palmistry symbols, set in an elegant oval frame with curved glass.


These artifacts were intended for the dissemination and teaching of palmistry at a time when the discipline was widespread in Europe, occupying a position between popular science, esotericism, and visual culture.


The piece retains excellent legibility of the engraved signs and maintains its original strong visual impact.


The work was featured on television during the program Cash or Trash and was recently exhibited in an exhibition dedicated to the figure of the witch, rituals, and superstitions, and was also published in the related catalog.


Its documented presence on television and at exhibitions reinforces its collectors', historical, and cultural interest.
