Rare medieval torture instrument in forged iron with two Templar crosses at the ends.

It was used to punish and torture the hands of the unfortunate. With the use of a rope through the appropriate holes of the two pointed brackets it was pulled and tightened crushing the hands of the person.

Spain probably 18th century.

Length about 50 cm (20")
