An exceptional and original sculpture related to the theme of death, depicting a high-ranking 16th-century figure with a skeletal face and truly evocative details.

A truly high-quality work of art created probably between the 17th and 18th centuries, whose originality we wish to highlight.

The theme of Memento Mori was represented in different ways; in some cases, the person or figure was not completely skeletal, to recall life and death; sometimes, it was depicted in decay.
