Terracotta sculpture depicting a skull with a snake coiled around its upper part.Two elements that together represent multiple meanings.

In ancient times, it represented immortality and the knowledge that survives death. The skull symbolizes the mortal world, while the snake represents wisdom, rebirth, and the eternal cycle of life.

There are some candle wax residues that we have purposely left because in our opinion they give the object a touch of lived-in and mystery.

An original sculpture that we date to between the 18th and 19th centuries.
