Wonderful masterpiece of a candlestick.

An artistic masterpiece probably unique in its kind, made of gilded bronze embellished with Mediterranean corals.

The lamp holder can be moved from its seat and therefore can be positioned in the preferred spot.

The spectacular nature of the object is made such by two components that function as a lampshade and a fan which, illuminated by the light of the lamp, acquire an incredible scenographic charm.

The two elements are composed of a sphere in smoky crystal caged by a structure also in bronze, and an elegant and precious circular agate, which can also be removed or moved. The ingenious mechanism is completely removable.

We have no evidence of similar objects, but it is plausible that it was made on commission for some aristocratic family of the 18th century, perhaps even earlier.
