Product Details

A curious little wooden box shaped like a small book, decorated with three vivid, hand-painted erotic scenes.

An original and unusual object, reflecting the ironic and licentious taste that characterized a portion of the decorative arts from the early 20th century.

The interior features a small storage compartment. The polychrome decoration—rendered in warm tones and bearing signs of age—retains all of its original charm.

Origin: France

Period: Early 20th century

Material: Painted wood

Dimensions approximately 10 x 7 x 2.5 cm (3.9" x 2.7" x 0.98")
