Magnificent EX VOTO polychrome terracotta sculpture representing a woman giving birth.

An exceptional example composed of two pieces, the main sculpture of the woman and the part of the upper dress that acts as a cover and which hides the moment of birth in every detail of her.

A true work of art probably commissioned like any EX VOTO for the grace received. A work that wants to represent the moment of her birth in a totally explicit way, but considering the era of the sculpture it had to be depicted in a discreet way.
