A plaster sculpture of astonishing quality, which brings to mind the important art of the sixteenth century.

The plaster Christ rests on a wooden cushion covered in blood.The crown of thorns is a real wooden crown.

Italy 18th/19th century, total dimensions 25x22 cm, height 19 cm. Head size only Christ head beard about 19cm
