Exceptional Medusa sculpture set in a wooden disc, all completely polychrome.

The medusa sculpture was presumably made with a type of grit, such as cement, with an important artistic quality.

The details are valuable such as the eyes which are made of glass and make the work even more impressive.

Italy, late 18th century.
