Model of absolute rarity representing the Virgin of Nuremberg.

The famous anthropomorphic wooden sarcophagus equipped with metal tips or blades which had the function of wounding the condemned person placed inside.

Here we have a unique exceptional representation from the probably nineteenth-century era, with the wooden sarcophagus and some iron elements and a wooden sculpture of a woman representing the condemned woman.

The female sculpture can be removed, curiously due to the presence of an iron bracket that connects it to the sarcophagus and which can slide. Perhaps there was a mechanism connected to it at the time.
