Rare eighteenth-century funeral cloth.

It is already very difficult to find quality funeral shrouds from the 19th century or early 20th century.

Here we exclusively have a very rare and original 18th century blanket.

A velvet funeral blanket with external embroidery and a central cross in spun gold. In the 4 corners there are 4 skulls with crossed bones completely painted and sewn onto the cloth.

The underlying part has light patches probably due to discoloration.

The state of conservation is very good.

Italy 18th century.
